[EDIT] Oh snap, thanks Lurker you were right. Looks like there was a Spring 1944 folder in mods with springcontent and bitmaps in there! Moved that sucker out and we are good to go. Thanks man.

Re: 0.79 Desync in lobby.
Well, I made a small .bat file to list the stuff in our Spring, though I forgot to check maps folder... base\cursors.sdz base\maphelper.sdz base\otacontent.sdz base\springcontent.sdz base\tacontent_v2.sdz base\tatextures_v062.sdz Both of us have them in the correct spots. I can confirm neither have ...

Re: 0.79 Desync in lobby.
Dotz, thing is a "clean" install of Spring won't have those base files. In my case, I have checked and both of us do have the otacontent, tacontent_v2, and tatextures_v062, along with the other 3 standard files. Just for kicks, we also both downloaded the recent BA 6.93 (that neithe...

0.79 Desync in lobby.
I had my friend update to 0.79 only to have to our dismay end up having issues with syncing from the start in the lobby. She updated spring via the 0.79.0.2 installer, and has patched the exe as well (just as I have), however when I host a game, she does not sync in the room. I have also made her un...

Re: Spring 0.79 is out (partially)
Well, I've been holding out for the week to see if 0.79 was gonna be deployed today on main. Besides the ATI stuff, is 0.79 a go, or should I wait for a 0.79.1 floating around?

Re: nvoglnt.dll crashes
Otherside, what version would that be? gine, have you tried narrowing it down to what it exactly is, water or shaders? It's a real shame having an 8800 only to disable LuaShaders (which I think is the one that can give us a bunch of FX used in mods). As for water, I guess I can live without bump-map...

Re: Request: Ferry Button
Hmm...but the retreat widget depends on CA's GUI layout stuff right? There's no way to add a normal button via Spring options or anything. Guess I'll have to draw an external button or something. Anyway I've attached what I have. Right now it's very simple: Type /luaui ferry with transport selected ...

Re: Request: Ferry Button
Anyway, decided to have a look at this once again. EDIT: Scratch everything I said, I figured it out. I got a basic ferry widget working. I'm gonna try to make a button on the menu so you don't have to type in the command, and then release it. :D Anyone got any pointers on how to add a simple button...

Re: Stealth's Music Player: Version 0.1c - UPDATE 11/17
Ok, as expected game start fix was easy (at least, it seemed it work when I tried a local and multiplayer-bot game). However, there is no "Pause" sound function as far as I can tell so that means the best I can do is make the music fadeout and have to start over on unpause. However, I also...

Re: Stealth's Music Player: Version 0.1c - UPDATE 11/17
Hmm. Ok, I'll look into this. I'm sure I can make it start as soon as game starts, but I wonder if I can even pause the music properly.

Windows Replay -> Linux
All right, I was trying to record a replay of a game I had under Windows, using Camtasia Studio but the recorder crashed. I decided to try watching the replay in Ubuntu and using another screen recorder, to see if maybe it was more stable. So I have my Spring in Win and Lin sharing the replay direct...

Been playing a couple more games. Only seems to happen when aircraft show up. And unfortunately spits out the errors during my multiplayer games, so I can't see the chat!

Re: Spring is running in SMP
Yea, using BA in the Air Combat test, as soon as they start shooting each other I get a lot of:
GML error: Sim thread called gmlMultiTexCoord4f
GML error: Sim thread called gmlVertex4f
GML error: Sim thread called gmlEnd
GML error: Sim thread called gmlEndList
GML error: Sim thread called gmlMultiTexCoord4f

Re: Spring is running in SMP
Are these solely for testing purposes or can one use them for "normal" gaming as well? Seeing as how there are a lot of things about Lua calling something in my message box, is that disable-able?

Re: Stealth's Music Player: Version 0.1
Aaaanyway, getting back to my widget: Just a small update, now that I'm finishing my finals I will have more time to practice my Lua. For now I added the simple "My Team" detection so it doesn't play when *any* unit is under, just yours. Also added some commands, songstop and songtime whic...

Re: Commentated Replay
You could use Ustream.tv to stream a game live, using something like Camtasia's capture driver to screencap your screen and have it show up as a "webcam".

Re: Revised GUI
IceUI in my eyes is not exactly that much more attractive then default GUI in BA. I like the CA menu borders, that would be really useful for Spring noobs, but I also dislike a large menu, and would prefer something like the double column concept proposed at first, or like in good ol' TA. Icons repl...

Re: Stealth's Music Player: Version 0.1
You could always just change around the values in the tables (2 tables, one for battle songs, and another for construction songs). Problem is, I use the length of each specific song for specific calculations, and seeing as how there is no function to get that easily (which would also simplify custom...
