I dunno, there doesn't appear to be any sort of political or point or celebrity involvemet being made in the artical so I'd be inclined to believe it. After all you do hear about things like this. I can think of at least two parties I've heard off that have got out of controll and cost the house-own...

I'd keep the trooper, though give him a seat or a bit more platform. At the moment it looks lkie he's hanging on by his arms.

Either way he adds a point of interest to the model.

'Tis a series that's just finished on the BBC. It featured the guy who's going to play 'the Master' in Dr. Who this year as a police detective in Manchester (in 2006). Right at the start of season 1 he gets hit by a car and when he wakes up it's 1973. It was basically an excuse to do a 70's cop show...

Life on Mars

Damn was that a good series, and a decent ending to boot.

Still was I the only one who almost expected Sam to fly Neo-style from that roof?

I used to play a game called TDZK many years ago, sort a browser version of EvE. It took to much time for too little reward.

Edit: I just googled it and apparently they're about to close down and restart in 2008, or when they're done.

Consider, there are black holes so massive that you could cross the event horizon perfectly happily and continue travelling for while before the gravitational sheer mashes you. The event horizon is simply the point of no return for light. The really crazy stuff happens at the very centre at the actu...

It's such a shame HW2 didn't live up to HW. The original HW had a n awesome modding community with mods for just about every sci-fi univers you can mention.

I still have an encyclopedic knowledge of star ships from Trek (every era), Wars, B5 and Farscape.

Computationaly cheap raytracing?

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/technology/6457951.stm Well aside from the incorrectly labeled 'Quake' spider-daemon the article makes some interesting points. Even if it'll require a rather good pc currently to run the algorithms thats still a vast improvement over needing a super-computer, and of cour...
