Re: Spring Map Edit Revisted
Erhm what? That dev version was rather horribly broken, i only made it since i switched to multi threading and had to get people to test it, but it has been well tested by now. There are some internal uncleanliness associated with it but in practice the multi threading works well now. Since i dont p...

Re: Latest "The Cursed" available here
I have no great ideas for advertising the game to get more recognition. Maybe steam greenlight would be an option? Im the wrong guy to ask this. No big deal, just remember to add the credits, when you do the update. Feel free to use other models for the maps (as long as you do the credits properly ...

Re: Spring Map Edit Revisted
And comes another. This is mostly a bug fix release, the most important ones basically being all the mirroring, flipping and shifting ops being properly working and also all import/export. There should also be a noticable increase in speed when editing now. Also increase in code quality, which shoul...

Re: Requests for infrastructure providing
gc is galactic conquest, which is my main game and ord is my operation red dawn, that is my C&C remake, thought its good to have dedicated channels, for the heck of it i guess. I also have minor projects such as simbase and intrusion and if things go well i might have more in the future. Alright...

Randome time gadget
Here is a little gadget that changes map lightning dynamically with the new callouts that are available since 100. It fluctuates the light with randomness, with extremes being less possible as time passes. This gives maps a subtile but noticable change in lightning. It also has a slight fog applied ...

Also is i would like a subforum called: Code_Man's Projects for my games. I suppose its not problem to ...

Cursed never gets the recognition it deserves, including from myself. :( Wonderful work! Fucking this! Imo best spring game, commercial like. Needs to change, should be spring's front runner game. Do you mind if i mention it to the folks at http://freegamer.blogspot.com ? I wanted to mail them to u...

There is viewtopic.php?f=13&p=577678#p577678 which can import and compile maps simple, no need for building smf compilers.

Re: Spring Map Edit Revisted
Alright here is another version. The highlights of this one is selective mirroring, flipping and shifting as well copypasting of all maps(height, texture, metal (but not features) and etc). Not only can you perform those across the whole map but also on parts of it, that way you can do some crazy re...

Re: infologs.springrts.com
Sorry if this is a bit offtopic, but i dont think its worth making a new thread.
My suggestion would be to have a feature when spring crashes having a button that uploads infolog to paste.springfiles.com.
Or some other way too when it doesnt crash, but i dont know how that might be called.

Re: AI to play against
RAI does something the first time it runs on a new map at game start which causes the game to freeze and it might seem like it has crashed.
But i played RAI in quite a few game instances and never run into trouble with it.
Not saying it didnt crash, just that you should check twice with rai.

Re: Spring Map Edit Revisted
@FabriceFABS: Thanks for notifying me, i noticed this problem in the s44 trees aswell. Shit i fucked up the renaming after all tough! So if you want to use geovents you will have to rename them again, sorry for the trouble but its better than reuploading the thing again just because of some case. I ...
