Update: I am going to release a new installer package sometime within the next week. If anyone wants to make suggestions on the maps to be included please tell me. The map list I have thought of at the moment is: Small Supreme Battlefield Delta Siege Dry Altored Divide Comet Catcher Redux Tangerine...

Woo! I'm in the thanks!

BTW Pressure, have you fixed the green arty in the dev version yet? In our game they had really bad height tolerance for their cannons.

If it was a Karganeth, yes. It's an all-terrain krog. Was he playing a TA based mod as Core?

Umm, you guys don't seem to get the point. It's not just about the mod. My installer puts in maps as well. True, if it were simply for just the mod, then an installer is overkill. But adding maps and a working AI is tedious, and getting the right maps and mods in the first place is also bewildering....

Do you want me to make a package installer for it?
I can whip one up in about a day. Hopefully with NSIS as well, so no 'this software is unregistered' screens.

First of all, please use proper grammar. My eyes hurt after reading that. Try looking at the wiki. You got a 'countdown'. Try looking here:
http://spring.clan-sy.com/wiki/FAQ#Technical

It should show you the problem and how to solve it. I can only help as far as that.

@Drone_Fragger: In the gameplay video the commentator guy showed some 'nydus worms', which are probably the new transports. And they're nydus derivatives.

Top left one. Keeps in style with the current logo's gear and has a nice, easy to read font compared to the others that also looks good.

RAI and most AIs run in at under 1 Mb. Their utility far outstrips their file size IMO, and it's good to have an AI for training purposes. RAI is nasty in EE.

Yeah, probably. I will leave Isis out until a new, finished version comes out. If all else fails, I can simply drop it from the package and include it in another package.

Next Spring Package installers: EE map/mod pack

Right, after a generally good response form my previous package installer, I have another pack on it's way: The EE Package! I have sorted out the AI and Mod, so all I need is some good maps for it. I would like the communities suggestions on this. So far my ideas have been: Delta Siege Dry EE-Conqur...

Just a little cross-promotion here: I made a BA map/mod pack complete with installer, check it out here: http://www.unknown-files.net/download.png And the thread about it here: http://spring.clan-sy.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=10884 That runs in at ~150 Mb, with most of the commonly played maps.

Sleksa: To be honest, your opinions might have been noted if it weren't for the fact that you had to use an annoying and troll-like tone in your post. May I ask why the redux version is better than remake? I haven't played much comet catcher in a while. And this time, DON'T use the shift key in your...

One more thing, maybe communicate with the BA team and release it when they have a new version? Since people will be downloading a large package anyway, maybe start a thread in the user map discussion to find what really good but unplayed maps are out there and include them as well as these mainstr...

BA Package Installer

First of all, hello all! This is my first post on this forum, but I've been lurking here for a while. Anyway, back on-topic. I have introduced most of my friends to Spring, but one of the things that they and I have noticed is that it takes a lot of repetitive manual work to get maps, mods and such ...
