For the discussion, are we considering buildings units too?

OK so it needs a lower bounds on year, but I was going for Moores law in regards to unit numbers.

+1, Spring is not TA 1, when 250 units ruled in the year of 1996. This is 17 years later, and given should allow 17 times more units. So the general formula for optimum number of units is: n = (a-1996)*250 , where n = number of units and a = year in gregorian calender. Sounds simplistic. Shouldn't ...

Idea: have metal spots actionable, so if you select a builder and right click on a metal spot they build a extractor.

So, after ditching Ye Olde Nehe Rendering Methods and learning a bit of GLSL, I was told, I don't recall who by, that you don't actually write shaders. Apparently you write programs that write shaders. Does anyone have any resources on this?

It's a wiki about a game engine, of course the only people who care are developers. Like a wiki about programming only being interesting to programmers.

Individual games should have their own private wikis.
