yup this is fukking cool. It probably looks better in that video than it's actually like in practice I think however. Maybe it's just looks good but gets annoying and slow in the long run, and slobbery on the screen. I would love to know what it's like doing artwork on the thing (and playing games.....

Todays bashing on supcom by me will be on their economy system. Building metal makers + energy is more efficient then building lvl3 extractors (but maybe more tedious, haha). How stupid is that? To me it's just a huge spamfest, who can print the most resources a la SM. Adjecency bonus... yes please ...

I also think Supcom is hyped. People talk about for example: Huge maps But really its just the units that are small. The 80km map is a ring of little islands in the middle. And I can't really tell any difference to the biggest TA maps (like yerrot mountains) that I never played anyway becouse their ...

I don't like it. It looks like the body is just floating along, and the legs look like an afterthought, anchoring the body to the ground to prevent it from floating away. Make it somewhat slower, have time between each leg's movement (i.e. move, wait, move other, wait, move other, wait.....), have ...

To find something remotely resembling strategy in the sense of organising a huge REAL LIFE army at the higest level, IE the REAL LIFE generals job (origin of the word is from greek word for general), you would have to get an actual war simulator/wargame, the thing (again real life) military commande...

Here is the walking animation: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q1O_ZC4EFns I might make a separate animation for the front legs, with the knees bending forward. Or at least that was the original plan but I like how it looks with all knees backward, perfectly synced front and back does annoy me a litt...
