Re: Imperial Winter - where things stand, and how you can help.
If it were only up to me, I would have just made the svn we put up public long ago, but it's not my decision alone to make. That's my vote, in any case.

Re: TAUniverse 'Old Guard'
I am 2001, I recall zwzsg also cropping up in 2002ish, iirc you are 2000. It's not really much of a stretch to lump the three of us into the same bracket. Yeah, I got the game in late 99, started editing other 3rd party units in early 2000 (they were actually some of GZ's units from estrella...

Re: TAUniverse 'Old Guard'
Zwzsg will correct me if I'm wrong but I think he didn't show up until 2002 or 2003, which would make him slightly newer. Or maybe that's just when he took up the mantle of bos wizard and that's what sticks out in my mind. And yeah I was there for Dragon's spam cannon days on PA... and PA wasn't eve...

Re: Google+
who needs any of this myfaceplus anyway. everyone I want to be in contact with is either in my phonebook or irc channels. then again if I had a higher tolerance for dealing with bullshit from people I barely know and don't give a fuck about I'd have probably had a lot more fun in high school so what...

Re: Terraria
I've been hosting one daily (except for today, because my brother and I are both at work) but I don't leave it running 24/7. Apparently I'm not the greatest host ever since I only have ~512 kbps effective upload, but we've had 4 people at once without too much trouble, although that's counting mysel...

Re: Important notice about the SeaGate Baracuda line.
Bumping because seagate can eat a dick. I got a replacement drive the day after my first post in this thread , March 29th. It's April 19th now and the new drive has already started doing the same thing as the last one (in the past half hour it's dropped twice already. I replaced the cable after the ...

Re: Important notice about the SeaGate Baracuda line.
I know this isn't the same problem but I might as well share my own horror story. Fuck seagate. I had a 1.5 TB barracuda that kept falling off the face of my computer's world. I'd have to scan for new hardware to pick it back up and it'd work fine. Eventually it started doing that about once a week ...

Re: Firefox 4 Has Landed
i left firefox 4 open overnight with the download window open and one tab, my bank's website, after making the layout not suck. there's something wrong with you if you actually like the latest trend of cramming all the menus into one button over a menu bar but that's beside the point it was using ov...

Re: Firefox
Opera Uses between 80-200MB. That is with up to 20 tabs open (I am anal about closing old tabs) and it's built in FTPish thing and image sharing servers running. leave it open for a couple weeks, it'll slowly creep its way up to 1.2+ GB but when you restart it it'll happily only use 200 MB for a co...
