Re: Wiki Update
Index changes were before 104 I think. There are some new modrules and unitdef tags in 105.0.

Re: Wiki Update
I will do the wiki updates, as I have since 90.0 :-) , but it will take me longer this time due to work commitments and the issues with some commits being only on develop and not maintenance. It may be quicker to go through the 290 lines of changelog checking for relevant changes in my usual manner ...

Re: Wiki Update
Just realised some mantis reports are feature requests too like https://springrts.com/mantis/view.php?id=6357
So guess the most robust way is just to suck it up and go through all 1500+ commits.

Re: Wiki Update
105.0 might require a team effort, need to trawl through https://github.com/spring/spring/compare/104.0...105.0 and compare to everything labelled as 106.0 in https://github.com/spring/spring/blob/7ecd80c55495f4c66dc3fca5d80864cfd455d115/doc/changelog.txt Can probably ignore all the mantis fixes for...

Re: Spring 105.0 released: maintenance release
If you really want a figure let's say triple it to 360 as a starting point, though raaar's post illuminates why its a misleading question to ask. At what point was 'the number reduced when space ran low', and reduced from what to what? Is the 120 the new figure or the old? How many builds are on the...

Re: Spring 105.0 released: maintenance release
It is tiresome when you deflect by saying an issue is not an issue because there is another issue. Having a stable release does not resolve the problem entirely. Only if all games move to that stable release. If space is reserved for migration and centralization of springfiles resources, great. Does...

How much donation is required so that server space is sufficient that you will extend the auto delete script?

Re: The end of the maintenance branch
I recognise that Abma is the weak link and that something must be done , but not by increasing dependency on proprietary services. GitHub is not the only service out there, similar features are offered by GitLab and SourceHut, which are (respectively) semi and fully free software and can be self-ho...

Re: The end of the maintenance branch
It may be off-topic for this thread (though you can consider this thread as 'future of Spring' in which case it is entirely relevant discussion) but it is undoubtedly an important one and long overdue. Single points of failure are problematic, and you - through years of invested time and dedication,...

Re: Autohosts operating non-downloadable engines
Wonderful, cannot comment on closed mantis issues. So I write my comment here: The same issue will happen again post 105. Or rather, it will continue happening, since this apparently wont ever be fixed. Everyone with time & willpower to fix issues does not have access to do so. Everyone with ac...

Re: The end of the maintenance branch
ok, i can do this. Thats create 105.0 from maintenance + drop the maintenance branch, right? I'll try to so on monday: break-day! 8) Can you please also prevent the script from deleting old builds? At the very least keep the latest 100 builds or so. Right now it's deleting them based on date,...

Re: Autohosts operating non-downloadable engines
Why is auto-deletion even still a thing? Not like there are hundreds of new commits requiring new builds on maintenance.

Re: What command must be given to cloak units? (for AI players)
General rule is that you really don't want to write generalist AI. This is my opinion, too. Since your hey day submarine the lua API has expanded and its use has grown exponentially with games diverging ever further from the OTA 'template'. No generic AI could get past the first hurdle in MechComma...

Arrow IV Artillery Missile https://www.dropbox.com/s/l5j4kpi5vis0ggk/laserguided.mp4?dl=0 Sorry about the craptacular quality, Spring recording codecs seemed to have been whittled down to only 4 and none of them seem to compress the video (original is 2.1Gb) :( Is this a permanant change or just due...
