I wasn't arguing your stance on the response, I am arguing your statement that it was an obvious joke. Do you think hunterw is an idiot? If not, do you recall that he tried to copyright an SMD? lolololololololloollol http://springrts.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=8447&p=152382&hilit=co...

Re: floating mex vs underwater mex
It's not strategy in team games, it's whatever you want to do or think would be the most interesting, not what's most effective. When I play big 8v8 games I do dumb random things just to mix it up, there's nothing 'strategy' about that. Winning move in a good 75% of 8v8 dsd/tabula team games != 8v8...

Re: Legos - a kit to create unit models quickly and easily.
this is an extremely fuckwin idea for keeping all units the same theme The second layer of tilty-things along the side is ugly, but that's only visible from the side. From above it looks really really good. Nice work. I think that could be solved by selecing the bottom row of tilty things, and flipp...

Re: BA Sea
Something like this: - Give the commander a blue under water laser which has a better range than the red air laser. - Let the commander dgun underwater, this would create a line of extra lua generated explosions on the surface as well as the sea bed. - Make torpedo launchers chain explode or nearly...

Team games? Isolate your variables noob. Stopped reading right there. :regret: Its true though. You never seem to play games that arent half filled with newbs (apart from a few drop all-ins) afaik, its kinda hard to see any meaningful timings from that. Sure there is. Team games that are half smurf...

I am talking from my experience of playing sea / seeing sea play in teamgames. Whether or not I played on specific map is completely irrelevant to the v...
