Re: CORE T1 Aircraft factory

There are some missing pieces I havn't put in for the middle nanolathe, parts that will link up to it ect..

Generally I wanted to keep the animation as simple as possible, then its not a huge headache with getting the script working.

CORE T1 Aircraft factory

I'm going to start working on the aircraft models and see where it goes. I have a rough workout of the Lab, and still doing some additions and tweaks, but I think its pretty solid right now. As usual, I went with the original layout and updated it and tried to add in some more detail. What you guys ...

Re: CORE T2 vehicle plant WIP

OK guys, everything is done with the factory.

Like I said though, its been a while since I've put a spring model together so if something isn't working plz let me know so I can get it fixed up.

Enjoy

Re: CORE T2 vehicle plant WIP

I finally have some progress to show you guys on this. Its been hard to get my mojo going with texturing after not working on it for months, but I think its coming along pretty decent. Most of the texture is finished now, just a couple more parts to get done and shaded and I will have the final text...

Re: CORE T2 vehicle plant WIP

Got everything together, just working out the texture atm. If you guys want to look over the .s3o model for it, everything is there for whoever wants to get a head start on the script. It should be a very easy animation to key in, as its pretty basic unfolding. Sequence limits (Opening). Stage 1. (g...

Re: CORE T2 vehicle plant WIP

I finally have some time to work on some of my models again, thought I would finish up the T2 vehicles while I have the time to do em.

Work is done on the factory, just gotta unwrap it and get it textured now.

man.. I'm so jealous of those models :D

They are just so damn sweet, you don't get much more perfect than that.

Re: [WIP] - My TA re-modeling and re-design

What I find is how important the Normal map is for the sexy visual in those renders. With your factory render, compared to what it looks like ingame in the spring engine is a night/day difference. It just looks gorgeous in the render, but ingame it just looks plain and a bit washed out without the n...

Re: MR.D's Core remakes

Yeah, the Croc is my favorite unit out of the whole set.
#2 would have to be the Pillager.
#3 fav is the Vehicle factory.

They should name it the "way too expensive for what it does" gun.

Re: Shell Shock

Setting them up for High/Low trajectory switching would nice. I think that at the very least it would be a place to start for testing. Its the only T1 combat unit that is a 100% support unit where other units have to guard it, because it can't protect itself against other combat units or run away wh...

Re: Random WIP

Totally acceptable polycount if its a superweapon, you could even bump it up a bit since it will probably be built in few #'s and late game.

Does look really nice though.

Re: Simple question.

If I was abusing my power to promote my own work, I would have stickied every single seperate post for each model I created. Instead, Rattle collected about 70% of my finished and scripted models that were 100% together and ready for ingame use and made 1 single post which I stickied, as I had plann...

Re: Simple question.

If other people want to put the quality that Cremuss and I put into replacing the OTA units with OTA looking units, I'll sticky their work at their request. I stickied Cremuss and my work up top to show people what would be preferable quality to shoot for when remaking the OTA units, its that simple...

Re: Random WIP

What you could do though, is maybe use that model as a reference and use it for normal mapping, its not uber highpoly like most normal mapped models typically are, but its still high enough and detailed enough to use.
