I added a "windscreen" and there is the TA view. I think the texture is detailed enough and there is no need to improve the contrast - I fear this would ruin the intended style ;)

For me shadows don't work neither on smf nor on sm3 maps. I have got an ATI Radeon X1600 card.

As realBonk said before - everything worked fine in 0.74...

I have no idea! 7-Zip works fine for me. You could just use Winrar or Winzip and the .sdz ending for your mod. This should make no difference to 7-Zip.
