correct me if I am wrong... but ok... you reduce the unit size and put the units on the same map and zoom in.... isnt this the same as making the map scaled bigger, with a bigger zoom factor? thus, only reducing the map quality for a bigger map/unit scale?? can't we just make a higher compression 60...

I like it... if I offer any advice, I would reccomend adding some form of a trasition texture to the metal where the red and silver collide, etc. maybe a thin black trench (small) or like a little bit of overlapping panels... just so they look a little more in place.. kinda like sand on a shoreline ...

The numbers are between 0 and 1, but beyond that I don't know. Did you try reding the wiki? I've read about everything I can find on the boards... but this wiki... I dunno... maybe? edit: yeah I read that page allready... it just states to copy someone elses and toy with it.... dosen't tell me pidd...

oh and I still can't get shadows, clouds, or shiny water to EVER work.... and I'm on a decient card... Mobility Radeon 9000... I can run doom 3 with all the speciality graphics turned on shadows, bumpmapping, etc, even 512x512 on all textures... but I have to run the resolution at 800x600 to get any...

me too... but from time to time... on the newer maps... (I'm guessing built on SharpMap... it seems to show up :-) ... brain coral... I have about a 50% chance of seeing the menu, and the map CLEARaDITCH I see it everytime... the map I'm working on I see it everytime, and its built on the SharpMap p...

Small help needed with the .smd file
Well... I've generated a large 25x20 map, pretty impressive looking too.... but I have 1 problem... I CAN'T FIGURE HOW TO TELL THE SUN TO POINT IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION :evil: !!! I'm guessing that the #'s represent x y z and the rotation according.. but where does the sun point initially?, how much v...
