As for the patch jK pointed to. The captcha patch does a little div background trick that can't be applied 1on1 to 3.1, it should work fine without it. It can be changed. I did make some changes to the original css for links as it wasn’t working right with links in the forum, but I don't have any visual preferences, I just like to have the PhpBB 3.1 codebase as it's far more cleaner to build extensions for.

I can upload an avatar and it will show up, I guess something needs to be done (file permissions, another directory, ..) to make the existing avatars show up.

I think this as good a time as any to breach the SPI issue. It depends on how much is donated to "Spring" as a project v/s how much is donated towards specific bounty’s. I like the bounty approach and for bounty's it would probably work better if money is directly donated to the developer...

I've added Anarchid to the SPI liason of "finances" as there have been no direct objections so far and we need to handle it. The next thing is we need to figure out who decides how Spring money is spent. Imo a group of around 5 people is required, ... You are moving to fast for me to back...
