I was digging the beta until I discovered the auto-lock system.

I just cannot see the point of a FPS game (PC) which automates 99% of the skill required every other fight. It's like a racing game which steers for you, and all you do is accelerate.

blur and feather are your friends to make a ramp between two color levels, I lasso the area I want to make a ramp, feather it (~6-7px), then, to put it technically - blur the shit out of it. http://members.iinet.net.au/~dilloj/blur2.jpg make sure you feather your selection, so the edges blend smooth...

Well, you can rename the smd and smf, but not the smt, which will change the map name without a recompile. (or it might be the smf, i'm not going to check :p)
