Re: Unit Auto Repair Widget
I am afraid I have less than minimal coding ability. But I gave it a try anyway. I started out by identifying the way to determine whether a potential repair unit is idle. Next I looked at another widget (idlebuilders) for comparison. Both seem to beat around the bush. Autorepair checks for all unit...

Re: Unit Auto Repair Widget
I have been using this widget recently. It still suffers from bugs. Worst is that builders that aren't really idle decide to go repair stuff. I think this is caused by the intended function in this widget that allows moving repair units in a moving front to repair. The problem is that this overrides...

Thank you.momfreeek wrote:what a ludicrously convoluted plan. Are you an evil genius klapmongool?
Btw, fi hosts also need to use the soft ranklimit instead of hard.

Re: The Curious Case of DSDHosts.
Well a big way to combat DSD would be to setup more autohosts that support 16 players but rotate different maps. I've done my bit by proving all the [fi] hosts with some decent map rotations. Spads too, but we need more people to sit in them. It really is a simple formula: Players leads to more pla...

Re: The Curious Case of DSDHosts.
So, in case someone hasn't realised, we have now 3 DSDHosts. So we need to get them closed some way, I don't know how yet but maybe dear moderators and server side admins could help? :) ... I'm truely amazed if someone will disagree on this, and not just amazed, more like disappointed. Help me and ...

Re: The Curious Case of DSDHosts.
As several people wrote above the problem at hand does not originate at DSD, despite what some suggested above. Other maps came before DSD and other maps will come after DSD. What exacerbates the situation is in my opinion the changed autohost situation. Autohosts have become very good hosts, and ar...

Re: Ok, I'm tired of this crap (Springlobby)
I am using SL but it seems to be crashing alot (50% of the time or more) when downloading a map. At first I thought it was the sheer speed at which I was downloading the maps that caused the problem (while monitoring this it seems to crash when hitting 50Mbits or higher). Havent tried limiting DL sp...

Re: 2 new beta widgets, NoDuplicateOrders + SmartNanos
I'm not keen on the idea of nanos auto assisting anything cause my economy is one thing I like to micro manage myself :) ah lol, i thought it was defective... Would love the smartnano functions working well together with the immobile tho. Cause atm the immobile will make them assist that nasty guar...

Re: How NOT to play Spring (BA), part 2
START AS FAR AWAY FROM YOUR ENEMY AS POSSIBLE- Be sure to pick a spot in the back on maps like DSD so you a sure you enemy can't reach you as fast as they would otherwise. Do not worry about all the metalspots they will get cos you abandoned them, your superiour adv solar build will give u all the m...

Error starting SVN spring (0xc0150002). Normal Spring works.
Heyho people, 0.75b2 with the normal spring works just fine for me. I set all settings to low (except for unit LOD distance which is set halfway) and basic water at 1024x768 since my athlon xp 2400+ 1 gig ram with a radeon 9800 pro wont take more in larger games. So far this is all just fine. Now i ...

(first post on this forum) Looks great already, and that after such little time! great job! Also a great idea by AF to get working on a zone control mod! (mucho fun and more of a player vs player experience). I know i spend too much time on both TD as zonecontrol in WC3 when i was tired of laddering...
