Are you wanting to hear from Engine developers or from gamedevs. The 2 groups are somewhat distinct, although there have been tons of times where the engine devs have directly spent a lot of time helping the individual projects. So, from what I see in that screenshot, it appears that the yardmap is correct. The gateway is non-blocking it looks like. Perhaps without new orders the pathfinder isn't realizing that it can go through (Clutching at straws)?

Honestly not really needed. You can use hitbyprojectile or whatever it's called and have sparks, blood, oil, etc fly when the unit is hit. I would say invisible lasers is better because no possible drop and they don't suddenly just not hit if you give them insane velocity (like cannons). Technically...

having a single feature archive would have made fixing this easier, but lobbies had trouble handling dependencies (they wouldn't sort them automatically) and a safe way to tune the features to each map is include them in and tweak them instead of using the package. Imo we should avoid breaking back...

It's almost as if someone made a giant feature archive in the realization that things like this happen so that it could be fixed in a single place instead of hundreds of places, yet very few were farsighted enough to see the potential problems that this method fixed. :roll:
