Is there any chance we could see an updated version of this map where the middle hill(s) are about half the current heights? I think the games would be more dynamic and interesting if the high ground advantage was not so ridiculously good on this map. This is a good point. I also think the right si...

However, later on LathanStanley starts to make sense. It's true, AA has really gone on the wrong track lately. I've been working so hard to take advantage of new tricks in Spring that my original goal is being lost. I'm going to take steps to move AA back to its roots, starting by eliminating "...

The good thing about this is it gets rid of stupid micro, where someone can run rings around your solars and you can't shoot him with your Commanders laser. Or having to line up your troops to get them to fire. There are a million other things for you to be microing without introducing things like ...

I'm having trouble finding a picture of it on the net, but theres a map for TA called Biggie Biggs (one of the Core Contingency maps) that results in the sort of gameplay you're talking about. Owwweeeee is also pretty popular, but not as good in my opinion because it becomes a bit of a rush for the ...

Well I was playing Lowland Crossing with SJ and he agreed with me that the popup artillery needs some sort of nerf. I'm not particularly concerned wether its range or accuracy or whatever, but it really is far too powerful for the money. On lunar maps it has even more crazy range. Other than that, t...

I mean, someone could make a metal texture that looked more like smooth, tarnished metal or something.

The thing about Supreme Commander is it could be very slow. Maybe it won't be as nicely balanced as Spring/OTA in that gameplay scales nicely to different types and sizes of maps. It's all speculation though.. I remember everybody going on about how they were giving up TA when TA:K was coming out.. ...

Can we have a concrete time for when its going to start next week? I was hoping it'd get started a little earlier than it did. Upload a few of the demos guys! . I'd love to see more high level play. Particularly a few of the rANDY games. How about the winner of the tournament getting a little cup sy...
