Cute name. I like it.

It's a pity the metal tileset looks so shit in Spring. Why hasn't anybody tried making a new one? Or going for a different look that comes out better.

The thing about Supreme Commander is it could be very slow. Maybe it won't be as nicely balanced as Spring/OTA in that gameplay scales nicely to different types and sizes of maps. Had a game of XTA on this yesterday. Very enjoyable. The spires blocked alot of jethro fire which made things interesting.

I'm still not crazy about the metal layout though. The two lines between bases are a little close to each other. I'd rather a more Gasplant Plain type layout.

I already hate the d-gun limit. This would be even worse.

Comm ends is just the best way to go. You get all kinds of interesting risks and rewards. More interesting gameplay.

I think this would have to be a map for the final, not the earlier rounds. The games are going to take too long as it looks quite porcy.

edit: just downloaded. As it's only 6x8 in size it may well be fine actually. It looks lovely anyway.

The Mars and Lava tilesets were always pretty hideous. I don't think we get that nostalic about them.
