I had thought of exploring this theme... more in the overall setting and appearance of the map. Like you were in a giant (and with giant robots, REALLY giant) cavern. I was going to make a cave-y skybox, dim the lights a lot and put in crystal features and all that. But, it didn't make sense for CT ...

Hmm, ok. I will take a look at XTA and see what the weapon defs are missing...

Interesting on the weapons that may *not* be able to damage features... there are a few beams and lasers in CT, although it seems everything in CT is doing this.

Too busy in my opinion, but maybe with some good color composition it would be easier to make out what is going on. All of that grey makes it hard to understand for me.

If you're really serious about this, make your own assets.

A.) Copyright stuff.

B.) RTS units do not need to be "UBER high-quality". This is something you'll hear about a lot here.

On another note, Metroid RTS? How does that work? Army of Metroids vs army of Space Pirates?

Remodeled Ogami Type Tank: http://media.moddb.com/images/games/1/13/12677/New_Heavy_Tank.png Now has moving tank treads, recoiling cannon, and some other little improvements. As you can probably tell, I simply improved upon the original model. The revamped model also fires explosive AoE shells now :)
