Landing Pad questions

I am beginning work on an aircraft repair pad for CT, and I have some questions on the finer points. I know that most of the answers will probably be "yes, you can do it... with lua!" So I ask for either examples or strong nudging in the right direction :-) Is it possible for certain units to be all...

Re: Is Rapid working?

Hate to bother again, but it seems the CT autohost isn't updating to the newest version on rapid. The autohost still updates within a few minutes of rapid right? Also, I've been wanting this for a while, but is it possible to change the name of the CT autohost to "Conflict Terra Autohost" and take o...

Official Conflict Terra Comment Sheet

So I discovered Google Docs has a survey form, so I made up a little survey for the handful of CT players out there. Please, take some time to fill it out (it's not that long). Also, when I posted it on CT's Facebook page, it tried to say it was malicious. Not sure why, it's powered by Google Docs f...

Re: Is Rapid working?

So, uh, CT's commits aren't being picked up by rapid again. made some tonight, didn't show up, and made some last night, still aren't up. Last CT version on rapid is revision-1752, made in May. Did something change with rapid (again) or is this just the same thing from before? Would super appreciate...

Re: Development Updates

Biggest issue currently is the broken AI... trying to revert to the previous (and successful) builds of YMSAI prior to the Drone's flying miners experiment. Slowly remembering how to do stuff, and got it working, only it doesn't work well. The mining towers are built randomly, instead of near clumps...

Re: Development Updates

Well, some friends wanted to play CT a few nights ago, reported some errors, got my creative side brewing and I am tiring of Guild Wars 2, so I have been sticking my head back into the game.

Hello everyone :)

Seems I need to go see what 91.0 broke this time...

License Change

CT is (obviously) experiencing another period of development doldrums. This is primarily because I am currently dealing with rather powerful IRL issues. To put it shortly my father recently passed unexpectedly. CT is not shut down, I am just simply not working on it at this time. To protect the asse...

Model Viewer

So I'm sure this is not "new news" or anything, but I just discovered http://p3d.in/ , which is a model viewing website. I haven't found anything like it before (haven't really looked though  ) but I think it's really neat. Maybe helpful to some of the other modelers out there? I uploaded some...

So Happy

So I just got and installed a new power supply for my computer, so I could use a (much) better video card a friend let me have.

I am so happy.

Games are smooth and pretty now.

That is all :)

I died in Normal a lot as my Barbarian. Not going to pretend I'm "super awesome" or anything, but I was kind of surprised. Gear must have not been good enough or something.

Re: Diablo III

I think the most interesting thing to happen with Diablo 3's release is that the genre is going to shift from "Diablo clones" to "action RPGs". That is, Diablo's fumbled with the community and theres a good selection of other titles on the horizon. Randomization, as a feature, is great. And frankly ...

Re: Diablo III

I am still playing D3 most chances I get. Although I find it increasingly frustrating (super difficult higher difficulties and the evil that is the real money auction house) the actual game itself is still fun. I'm currently just trying to build up the various classes. Doing Barbarian now (I have a ...

Re: An outside perspective on two features of this community

The second part of your post applies rather well to me. I don't care at all how good or bad (usually bad) I am at a game. I want to have fun, with friends. I feel like a disturbing % of people out there don't really look at playing games this way. I love Spring. It is great. Sure it's not perfect, b...

Re: The indefinite shutdown of gundam rts.

Smoth, I am really sorry this is happening. Although I feel I'm in the same boat as Licho, what happened? Did Bandai tell you to stop or something?

The level of quality and detail you put into your work has always been inspiring to me, and others, and I wish you luck in your upcoming endeavors.
