Re: Balanced Annihilation V7.12
Take a look at the core metal extractor.. Its arms only go halfway up, and it does not wait untill its arms are completely up, it just starts turning straight away.

Re: TA Paper models
you should perhaps design that one around a wooden skeleton, otherwise the paper won't be able to hold itself, and could fall off..

Re: Skirmish AI: E323AI 3.17.0
I was just wondering: how does your AI work?
How does it roughly make its decisions?
And I agree: AI's will get more and more sophisticated over the coming years.. And no doubt there is some awesome stuff yet to come :)

notepad++ ftw ++1 to notepad++ +1 I LOVE that tool :) I believe there was a PHP debug plugin for notepad++, but I have never tried it. For debugging: I agree to the echo funciton. but in addition: print_r() useful for printing arrays var_dump() also prints arrays, but in a slightly different way. m...

hint: first extract the files to the desktop, and then copy them manually to Progtam Files. Then it actually bothers to ASK if you want to copy those files..
And I agree.. it is ridiculously stupid. But what do you expect? It is microsuck!

strange gunship behaviour
I think it has been mentioned before that some planes are shaking in the aircraft plant. I think that it are gunships that are the problem. Take a look at this screen: screen00072.png After it got repaired, it was stuch on its position, and it would not accept orders. Construction planes had this ki...

Adding to that: after nuking near some landed gunships, the gunships were suddenly a bit above the terrain, and refused to accept any kind of command.

If you don't have telnet, you can use putty.
Have fun!

http://mitpress.mit.edu/catalog/item/default.asp?ttype=2&tid=11657 not completely the same thing, but this was one of my "better buys". It includes a lot of different areas, like neural networks, genetics, Immune systems, and explains very well what they are, how they work, and of cour...

plane oddities
I don't know if anyone has noticed this so far: on some maps the planes start shaking in the aircraft plant, while being built. I also let some brawlers land, nuked quite nearby, and suddenly they did not respond to any kind of command. At least this happened speed balls donut v2, but there might be...

Re: Skirmish AI: E323AI v3.16.0 - High Templar
I was playing versus RAI an E323AI, I just wanted them to team up, so I could kick ass both of them ^^
About version 3.16: the commander just stands there, it says "dead team", and it was a very boring game
..And I work on vista

Re: Spring.exe huge delay on startup
I got the same problem
See attachment:
on the left is the time before I start spring, then the huge increase is spring starting up, then it lowers again when the window pops up. This is the latest version.
Quad core, vista
I used to have the problem with the previous version as well.
