Probable cause of bug springdownloader re-downloading maps

In the topic: http://springrts.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=18598 was discussed that springdownloader redownloads maps. I don't know whether I have found the real case of the problem, but it might be this: In ArchiveCacheV7.lua (found in the spring root folder), the paths to the maps looked like t...

Re: Freez at Watting for Server response

TASClient can be the thing causing the trouble. You see, it is not compatible anymore with the new version of spring, as it is not longer maintained. Try to use springlobby instead, and report back if that doesn't work either :)

skirmish AI's in spring 0.79 don't seem to work

I hacve just auto-upgraded to spring 0.79 (using the autoupdate from TASclient), and when I start a game versus a skirmish AI, no matter which AI I choose, I get the message screen that I won the game. Did anyone else experience this?

look in the springsettings.cfg file. There is an option in there whedre you can set that option. So no need to apply that patch anymore ;)

Re: Balanced Annihilation V6.92

I have no clue whether this is a bug or not, but the wreckage of a weasel does not seem to have collision detection (see attached screen) Where collision detection is that units avoid the wreckage instead of driving over them. I dont know if this is implemented on purpose, but I thought Id let you g...

Re: SpringDownloader re-downloading maps

solution (this will save you a few hours): Run cmd as Administrator (in vista) by right clicking on it and select run as administrator. Then navigate to the spring map folder with the use of the cd command. (cd "C:\Program Files\Spring\maps" in most cases) type the following del commands: del *(?).*...

Dont know if this has been posted before, but I'd like to see somewhere how much capacity a transport unit has and how much of it is occupied.

Re: SP game trying to connect to server?

I have hads the same problem.
What you got to do is to start TASclient.exe, register an account and log in. Then a message will pop up saying a new update to TASclient is availible. That update fixes the problem (at least in my situation it did)
