Nothing was reported, V1.02 now exists, requires 104.0.1-1208 or later. I've no plans to make any future versions of PA, but would be happy to accept PRs / assist a sane person who did want to.

This misinformation has been repeated too often, so, public information broadcast: Botflags existed in the server code for around a decade. Their original role, which they still have, was to mark a responsible user who had access to extra bandwidth, beyond the usual flood limits (= a "trusted" bot)....

No, that's the usual way. You can press uparrow to "re-type" previous commands. A widget can bind them to a key (addon.KeyPress, Spring.SendCommands), but it doesn't save much.

Currently I think none, the develop branch is part way through a long & complex migration to a newer gl version. While that happens the newest engines used by live games are those on the maintainance branch.

Yeah seems the server had some issues today - looking into it. It should now be possible for most users to login and play again, but we haven't yet tracked down why some users are wrongly given the "already connected" message. If you are affected by that issue, you should still be able to create/use...
