Well, outside of 8v8+ dsd 2.5k comm metal is no problem.

Righht.... So the problem you want to fix is teching on DSD.
I was not trying to 'fix a problem' and did not mention any specific map. You might regard teching on DSD a problem - I don't. I was suggesting a way to slightly lengthen the t1 phase of large games, not a way to abolish teching.

No, it's not a 'fact' that 1.5k com metal would kill teching entirely. It's an untested theory of yours.

I didn't say it would 'completely stop self d teching'? I'm not sure where you got that idea and I'm certainly not wanting that to happen. I'd like to see com metal reduced a bit, say to 1.5k. Afaik the only big effect would be to slow the techers down by a 3-4 minutes.

I agree with behes proposals above, too.

To return to my question ;)

None of the key combos suggested above worked for me. I still get a red circle (the one the engine generates) when I'm holding alt and trying to draw a line.

When I hold alt without pressing a it lets me give a move order to the bombers, in a line (but not a customformations line, the dead straight line that the engine draws on a basic move command). how to make multiple bombers bomb a line?

Could someone tell me how to draw a line when attacking with multiple units? I've been told to hold attack + alt and draw, but that doesn't seem to work for me.

Do I need a widget? Even if it's a BA default widget I've probably turned it off :regret:

One old bug still around: EMP launcher still doesnt work properly on vulcan/buzz. It emps for about 3 secs, should be ~60sec iirc.

Do we have to have a stupid thread like this? Does it matter if average skill level of players goes up/down over time? No... There are plenty of times of day (e.g. all except EU evening time) without 8v8dsd, and there is no rush of 'good playres' wanting to play smallish games then, usually just one...
