Re: maintenance builds on springfiles

They are on https://springrts.com/dl/buildbot/default/maintenance/ and available through pr-dl/upq. This is what makes them appear on api.springfiles.com, but they won't appear on the webpages of www.springfiles.com There is a (short) delay between appearance on the main server and appearance via th...

Re: Its time to remove the engine restrictions

afaik ... waiting for Fabrice to put a stable release on some autohost for ppl to try it Not quite - there is a ba-test version with Spring 104.0.1-1208 running on all the autohosts, last commit 1 month ago, with much reverting done and no known bugs. Unless interest is shown / bugs reported to the...

Re: Its time to remove the engine restrictions

Afaics: (1) BA players en masse have little interest in the continuations of their game, which already exist in playable form in essentially all possible/requested flavors. So the choice of living in 2016 on Spring 103 forever seems set. (2) Regardless of implementation details/changes, there is no ...

Re: Its time to remove the engine restrictions

Or you could just read the announce post like everyone else: https://springrts.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=38&t=39277 I'm flattered by your mistaken hopes of my omnipotence, less so by your misplaced capitalizations. Afaik all the engine devs, who together decide(d) what the infra they built/maintain ...

Re: BA10 reskin

As a fork of BA10, the new iteration of BAR should follow https://springrts.com/wiki/Licenses_Forking_Mutators. In particular it shouldn't advertise from within BAs infra without permission (so this will be looked into). edit: This was fixed, thanks to IceX. sweep the problems with BA10 under the ru...

Re: ABUSE - who gave ares admin rights in ba server???

Since (afaict) Ares doesn't have any special rights on any autohosts within the Spring server, you are bringing this issue up on the wrong set of forums. You should direct your complaint towards the pm/email/website/whatever of the server you are using.

Any sync error with a current version is worth reporting (with replays), whether you have a guess for the cause or not.

Re: spads hosts failed to upload demo files on the last few days

XMLRPC went down a couple of days ago, it's already up again (and functional via e.g. Springs matrix logins) but for some reason the replay site isn't reconnecting to it - contact dansan.

Also, use bugtrackers, don't necro older threads/issues that were already fixed.

Perhaps you are thinking of https://springfiles.com/spring/spring-m ... as-horse-1, which has some less sophisticated and more intrusive wildlife.

Re: Transfer BA repo ownership to Mando

For clarity - by "the" repo, I mean "the repo which is connected to Springs infra". Ofc if some project/fork maintains its own infra (as ZK do) or simply has none, that's its own concern. Connections to Springs rapid & related stuff are ofc set by us and like any usage right they need some (minimal)...

Re: Transfer BA repo ownership to Mando

The repo & infra will be used by those intending to keep up with Spring engine progression, or not at all. Also, independent of that, after the long history of consistent aggressive behaviour towards so many other users, I think there is no prospect of Mando owning anything on Springs infra. More ge...

Re: Spring v104.0.1+ BA10.24 unsync

It's should not be happeds. It's should to give same results. This can be considered when you actually produce some info: *You* should check if the sdz that you claimed was broken (and presumably got from SF) has the same md5 hash as the correct version of the file, which is on http://repos.springr...

Re: Spring v104.0.1+ BA10.24 unsync

Rapid is useful for developers with a lot of versions but is not so useful for users Wrong as said: Some projects with large file size (750Mb+) require this for their stable releases. Maybe it should be settings in SpringLobby - sync all via rapid or sync all via sdzs files Users who picked "sync a...
