Re: Balanced Annihilation 7.50

Turns out the Banthas are still shooting, but the shots can only be seen against certain backgrounds because the bullets are tiny and dark.

Re: t1 veh factory change , Samson ??

You can _nuke_ a Vulcan that is still under construction and it survives to be finished by a new batch of cons.

Yes it improved a lot. I think the problem is that they are too cheap compared to the rest of t1.

Re: t1 veh factory change , Samson ??

Levelers cant catch samsons It's not a race  Normally there is a front, where they face each other. Even if a player wants its samsons to flee (most players never pull units back), before a group of samsons has turned the levelers are already in shooting range. Lol. First, the samsons dont tak...

Re: Balanced Annihilation 7.50

I think Banthas stopped shooting their hand guns. They used to shoot a nearly invisible bullet, but now I can't even see that. It's either fully invisible or worse, they lost that weapon.

Re: linux and two monitors

I run spring in two monitors and its fantastic. I did get two monitors of the same size, as spring needs. I don't think spring will support different sized screens anytime soon, but maybe you can convince a dev. Meanwhile, to get spring on both screens, I have had to do a few things in my configs: i...

Re: Spring Lobby crashes

http://projects.springlobby.info/issues/1479 Seems to be caused by new version of wxwidgets. Really not the fault of SL devs, but annoying nevertheless. I can only LOL at this. I have used wxwidgets as a programmer and I can tell you that springlobby is a buggy piece of shit and has been for many y...

Re: Lag when placing mex

It is not what it seemed. Turns out it also happens on old versions of BA, but it started happening exactly on my first game of the latest version. It still happens with luaui disable. Using the ALT-B key to see the performance values, it shows CPU LOAD going to 100% when entering the mex area view....

Re: Lag when placing mex

Thank you. That did not solve the problem. I had tried deactivating the mex snap as that was my first thought too, but it didn't help. Actually its nearly impossible to place a mex now without mex swap because I get like one frame every 4 seconds. Its really extreme, slows down my starts a lot and p...

Lag when placing mex

Anyone knows why the new version of BA would become really slow when placing mexes? When the dark and green view of metal spots is activated, my FPS goes from 150 to less than 1. This is on Ubuntu Maverick 64bits.

Because I honestly think grinding is the worst thing that ever happened to computer games. And because this project has a lot of value that I think is hindered by the grinding. And there are other good things about this, personal preferences like my love of open-source, passionate volunteer work, th...

Very true! It's the noobs like me that I worry about. Anyway that graph suggests the player numbers are going up so yeah, good luck with your noobtrap.

Well since we can ask for unlocks, I'd like one of a factory that pumps out kroggs with the speed and cost of peewees.
