Re: Integrated voice system based on teamspeak2 ready for use
TS2 does work on Linux, but it looks fugly. Frankly, using another program I don't consider to be much of a solution, especially one that duplicates the lobby functions. Embedding something is obviously more work, but will work a lot better - so mumble, or simply embed the speex itself (since that i...

Re: I youtube'd my Spring videos
I like the videos, but they're too long - the epicness fades out when it's longer than 3 mins.
see http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MpKqQxTURik, which I consider the best one to date so far

Re: Screen recorder in linux
I recommend using glc to record. Best recording quality ever.
However, it has no gui atm. A bit tricky to figure out how to use it for now

Edit: ignore that, thought you needed pr not an artist :)
I recommend PM'ing AI on the ubuntu forums: http://ubuntuforums.org/member.php?find ... r&t=359842 he's a pretty good artist, i've seen several of his game-related artwork.

Re: Ubuntu OTA Content Instructions
Yeah and if you want to update it, you have to update every distro section.
With chances of that being close to nil or most people, I went with using one centralized thing

Re: Ubuntu OTA Content Instructions
I know, I know. But the OTA section is a page of it's own that's embedded in all other sections, so it shows up for all distros. I don't know enough mediawiki-fu to make it realize what page is it being embedded on.

Re: Lower performance on Ubuntu 8.04 than on XP same machine.
Ubuntu already does the balanced scheduling, irqbalance won't do anything.
There was some command to check this but I forgot. But in short, ubuntu already has this some else enabled by default that balances fairly.

Don't know who that is, since I'm not expecting anyone to fix it. I did however help out and show a possible solution that I knew of :)

Re: Linux: Other programs popping a messagebox ruin the game
God forbid Linux users actually have to learn something. I set up a separate x server within a couple of weeks of starting to use Linux (and there was no resource to cut and paste from, I had to ask in #xorg). But if you think spring should change, feel free to submit patch. ;) BINGO! That's the at...
