A PowerPC user!
Thats great, not that any porting is underway for PowerPC but it will probebly be the next thing after Linux.
After that it would be fun to take it back to Microsoft on the Xbox 360. :-)
Anyway lets see how long the Linux porting effort will take to complete..

In the mean time I suggest we add 3rd party races to a second installer and use that as an option for those who wish not to break the law if they haven't a TA cd. I heard buggi was playing with the lost tribe? As for the fbi, those values are arbitrary and generic and can ebs aid about units in War...

I think multiple implementations will have more benefits then drawbacks atm. We can exchange the good idea's among the other implementation you see :-) Resulting in far better lobby's overall. The ├óÔé¼┼ôcompetition├óÔé¼┬Ø will keep people focused. And at some point one lobby will become dominant i...

I had contact with Chris Jorgensen about Mynn.
See my last post in this topic.
His site is not stating that Mynn is GPL, I'm more or less waiting for that.
Mynn has some custom sounds.

@Ace07, I'm running Ubuntu so you can safely drop windows support..

Anyway, things don't have to look that great for the first release.
Something needs to be left for others to improve.

I mailed Chris Jorgensen about Mynn and I think he wil release Mynn under the GPL.
I asked him if he could update http://www.xenoclone.com/mynn.cfm so it's clear that Mynn is actualy avalible under the GPL.

I think we need a infrastructure to support artists. Something like TAMEC only then for textures, models, sounds etc. That way a artist can upload his texture, agree that it will be released under the gpl (and/or a compatible license) and receive credit/comment from others. Someone in need of a mode...

2 sides is more fun, and 2 times more work.
Spring needs legal content asap I think.
Starting with one side is a great time saver.
Later on it can be expanded in any way people like.
Still I'm not on the Spring team I just think it's a good idea.
