1 point was awarded for special technical distinction, then half a point was subtracted for a technical flaw that I feel was avoidable. Outa interest what was avoidable? I have an idea what it could be but I cant be sure what you mean and if you mean what I think you mean it would require a complet...

Good power supply means you can upgrade later in life. If you get a not so top power supply now and plan to upgrade your PC's specs alot in the future you will have to upgrade you power supply aswell. I think the 8800gtx requires 2 6pin power connectors and I arent sure about the 8800gts, maybe just...

When do you plan to buy this computer? If you can wait a while you will be rewarded greatly, however this is always the case. Still I recommend waiting till the r600 comes out with nvidias awnser to it, by the time this happens the current cards will be very cheap. Also, I would highly recommend get...

*Sigh* I do believe all my previous cries for inspiration were missed. I just arent sure how to make it look more mechanical while keeping the rounded form. Perhaps a fan in the centre of the base to blow upwards? Its a little too late now though. This is the same old version with a UV map. It shoul...

I just dont know what to do with my model anymore; so I am just going to go ahead an UV map it. I posted earlier that I was out of ideas what to do but I believe it was throughly missed :? . However what I said in that post still stands, I still want some suggestions with what to do to it. Oh yea, n...

I am fairly sure wings exports with hard and soft edges, but imports with all soft edges cause my model appeared with soft and hard edges in UVmapper pro when I opened a .obj file with it that was exported from wings. However upon re importing back into wings it lost its hard edges/welded and unweld...

Updated version, decided not to change the basic idea as it isnt actually that similar to the grunt turret (other than hovering). Tried to make it look less usual in appearance without losing the ability to use mirroring to its full extent for UV mapping. I figure if the pad can make the turret &quo...

Keithes' design == halo grunt turret. I honestly wasnt trying too. Damn, looks like its back to the drawing board. I dont even own a copy of halo and I have made two models that basically copy it, albeit the other one was semi intentional. I thought the design looked generic rather than a copy when...

Will probably fail on originality. I had some drastacally cool ideas for this but they all went well over 3000 tris..... Forgot to triangulate before uploading but its 1568 tris triangulated. Surely anyone who views can triangulate for themselves. Its a floating turret, similar to the trirook, figur...

In my opinion that tank has the coolest turret design of all soo far. But the body seems a little plain, I reckon the animated tracks are a bit of a waste or polys like you said. Most tanks cover their tracks with armor, atleast the parts that wont touch the ground. The body and tracks of the tank a...

In that first one, something about the guy in the bottom right corner looks...wrong.... I'm afraid your right. The poster could have done without that. I know its his arm but it just raises too many questions when you first look at it. You may want to outline his arm or something cause currently it...

Just downloaded it and installed it then. It has a long way to go yet but it is pretty amazing for 3 mb. It is alot closer to the original TA than spring is. As I said before it needs alot of polishing, ALOT. You need the original TA files to runs this, well actually only the .hpi files. The graphic...
