Hey Hugh :-) I was just about to do what you suggested yesterday, when I saw you built another loader.dll. Ok, this one does not crash anymore while creating the metal cache file. I tried 10 times in a row on SSB deleting metal.xml before each time. Commander builds fine. :-) A friend of mine just t...

The filename now is XTAPE.sd7... Is that how it's going to stay? Can I rename it to XTA_v8.sd7 locally without problems?

I'd like to try it, but not yet replace v7...

OK... Now that CSAI did not crash I ran a few games on SSB... CSAI's commander always runs to the upper-left island and builds 2 non-sense metal extractors and just stays there, not moving at all. In one game I let 3 AAI play against 3 CSAI... now that was HILARIOUS ! All 3 AAI build a shipyard in t...

The so-called dreaded KAI is non-operational at the moment... At least I wasn't able to make version 0.11 or 0.2 do any good at all with XTA or AA using the compiled libraries AF provided. Hugh, I ran into a problem: I started a map of Crossing_4_final with 1 AAI (0.76) and 1 CSAI (20061026b). Every...

I am in no way qualified to argue on anything concering art, but I'd like to suggest the hints to always show up in the same corner, so one can adjust his/her eyes faster. Maybe also shorten the hints, since I was only able to read all when playing a map I had not yet calculated paths for. I uploade...

Hi, the logo is fine.. and it's just a logo, not worth such a dramatic scene... Even though I liked the loading screens of the old version better, the hints are a good idea. I haven't been able to read them yet, because spring is loading to fast. I am also wondering, why there is no more version num...

Hi Hugh, I get this error when spring is spawning CSAI: GlobalAI1: Metal analyzer rebuilding cachefile GlobalAI1: Creating new cachefile for mod XTAPE.sd7 GlobalAI1: C# AI initialized v0.0008, team 1 GlobalAI1: Please say '.csai help' for available commands GlobalAI1: Exception: System.NullReference...

Never seen this.. and I use shift to check commands quite often. Could it be mod-related? Because you seem to have it with AA, while I play XTA only...

BTW, how did you modify your control panel on the left, NOiZE ?

Of course... The data tarball only contains the data of the game... You need to download the source tarball first and compile it..

To be precise:

Code: Select all

1 = (0) playerA
2 = (1) playerB
    (2) spectatorC
3 = (3) playerD
    (4) spectatorE
    (5) spectatorF
4 = (6) playerG
