I read the readme.

I would suggest perhaps renaming it donotreadme.txt. That would most likely result in more people reading the manual.

Ah.

I thought I read somewhere it used straight IRC. I must have imagined it, I guess.

Thanks for the answer anyway.

Accessing lobby chat with IRC client?

Since the lobby uses IRC for its chats, shouldn't it theoretically be possible to acces the chats using an ordinary IRC client, if for some reason you would feel like it?

Looks a bit squarish and cartoonish, but it is still a good model. The textures also look a little dirty, and that's great. =)

Paradox makes great games. I still pick up good old Europa Universalis 2 from time to time. Doomsday is also great, especially the added spying adds to the gameplay.
Now I'm looking forward to Victoria: Revolutions. Hopefully it will make Victoria more playable. =)

it's like an acid trip just with no substance abuse.
Not really no. =P

This thread is not about drugs though, but LSD is so much more than hallucinations. Plus, that would be very weak acid trip if those were the only distortions you saw.

Course, I'd also like to see some naval units Navy! Navy! Navy! It would make this mod really awesome =) But, as stated before, the scale of some ships would most likely be a bit too large. American superheavy carriers for example. They would be ridiculously large compared to other units in the gam...

Reminds me of the LSD spiral-program. It does imitate somewhat some of the visual distortions you can get during use of psychedelic drugs, but then again those drugs are not really about the hallucinations anyway. The visual effects are just extra. ;-)

I'm all for splitting the teams, but make it large divisions. Three-four teams should be fine.

I like the way the water is now. Instead of being able to rely on defensive building, you have to build ships, with building as support if at all. It's one fo the things that make water different from land, playwise.

I see no reason not to have it in, really. Just a little box for text. But, on the other hand, the "name" box already fullfils this purpose (for many people at least), and if it is implemented it should be optional, so you could leave the field empty.

The difference is? Russia, China, Europe (UK is PART of Europe ^_^) and USA.... It was implied that we should have two different NATOs. My suggestion is to have three different sides that actually could have a reason to fight. If you have NATO (USA) and NATO (Eurotrash), there would be no logical r...

Less micromanagment with tremors, plus they look cool, and it's easier to repair one if it gets hurt then having to repair and possibly replace several artillery tanks. Also, as someone mentioned, if one artillery dies, you have less firepower, while the tremor gives you 100% firepower until the bit...
