Monohouse, you are the one responsible for it not working. You're blaming yourself! We have told you twice that you need the .NET framework to run the program. Of course it won't work if you don't have it! It's like trying to run a VB app without the VB runtimes! If you're too much of a fucking fanb...

Ugh, please, micromanagement isn't the spawn of satan himself you know. With all these "improvements" and suggested "improvements" lately, we're continually heading down the path of watching two AIs fight for us... seriously, if the bombers are doing all the work, what's the point of playing? If you...

I fail to see where he didn't make sense... You asked if Spring uses OTA maps, he answered that with a no. What's so hard to understand here?

Hey now... I was just commenting on what it'd be if it was handled the same way as the GUI. I wasn't saying I knew for sure if that's how map values are also handled...

Remember how you convert a decimal to a percent, zwzsg? That's what he means.

If it's anything like the internal GUI code in the source, it's RGB, where 0 0 0 is black and 1 1 1 is white. Heck, I could probably whip up a simple commandline app to convert 0-255 RGB values or possibly HTML hex values to the 0-1 scale spring uses... though I'm sure that's what you're planning on...

In my tests, it displays 14 maps at any resolution. In the mini spring executable, I apparently changed the text size for that so more maps fit on one screen, but I didn't make a note of it... I think it was in PreGame.cpp, but I could be wrong. Ugh, I had forgotten I did that until just now or I wo...

Well no shit. No one, including yourself , seemed to take the initiative to find this elusive mutator though, so it's kind of pointless to mention it again. Hey, maybe it's in the Lost fucking Ark! We'll go get Indiana Jones on the job right away to find this missing mutator! Besides, I haven't run ...

No. You texture each polygon manually in 3do builder. Only four sided polygons (squares/rectangles) can have textures, any triangle or polygon with 5 or more sides must be flat colored. Hopefully the SYs will program in better 3d model support with UV mapping and such in the future, though.

Unf. MiniSpring download Units are scaled to half their original size. Works with OTA and SWTA, I didn't test any others, but I don't see why it wouldn't. I tried making a 1/3 scale version, but the game didn't seem to like that much. I lost motivation to try 1/4 scale at that point :P Here's a chan...

You export each independent piece of the model as LWO (lightwave object) or dxf. LWO tends to work better. Then you go into 3do builder and import each piece forming a hierarchy of pieces, with children and parents and whatnot. Then you texture it and blah blah blah...
