Thanks, did that a while ago in illustrator. It originally said "TA Spring" but since that's a nono these days, I put Basically OTA up there instead.

I've been meaning to do more like that, but I'm lazy.
(PS It wasn't done with Illustrator's "Trace" function.)

RIA and KAIK seem to work pretty well with BOTA. BUUUUUT You would be wrong to assume that no one plays this in multiplayer. You need to open the Cremuss model and change the object names to those matching the original 3DO. That's how I fixed it.

Development is going a lot slower right now. Certian Real-Life obligations have over-run my ability to continue work on the mod. I haven't even been able to play spring for a long long while.

A new version is in the works, but I can't promise that it will be seen any time soon. :(

remove minimap.dds from the compressed file, its borked. Spring will create a proper minimap in realtime anyways.

In all seriousness, what do you want it to be? We're trying to remake the OTA units after all. They don't have to look revolutionary. The whole point of S3O was UVmapping, not High Poly.

Take the original models, UVMap them, and enjoy life. Thats the approach I'm taking at least.

Thats a nice offer Krogoth, but I'm not about take any risks with custom scripts just yet. For nearly every custom model I've added to BOTA so far, I've had serious compatibility issues. The detail will come in the texturing. Adding little widgets to the model only needlessly ups the count.

Truly Treeform, they are beautiful, and the fact that you made them in Blender further blows my mind. Its nice to see some of the units in that concept sheet being put to 3D. I truly hope somebody picks them up.

Well, I sucked it up and we ahead and UV Mapped my Rocko through Silo, it actually isn't all that bad, I would actually recommend it to all of you guys. But at any rate, here it is.
