They work fine in Volcanic Basin. Maybe check the cegs in VB and compare any differences to the maps you've been testing. I really want to be able to pan with the cursor, but you should look into Electron as a wrapper for distribution, it's the same thing used by Slack and WordPress to package their UIs up for Windows/OS X/Linux You can pan with middle mouse button, and electron is already what treeform uses for win/m...
