A cursory read of the code suggests that the energy and metal values have not been retrieved at this point for whatever reason, it is the first frame afterall, have you modified the initial value of lastFrame or the update interval used? https://github.com/spring/spring/blob/master/doc/changelog.tx...

I have found this during my test on Shard for BAR develop.
