Re: fatboys, goliaths, aoe and friendly fire
Major high five. Just today I teamed up with Mirlitelle and did a golly rampage. I provided the golly, and Mirlitelle provided 5 or so levelers and 3 slashers + con for golly. The slashers killed probably 20 or so bladewings that would've stopped the golly, and the levelers killed the kbotspam. We t...

Re: Help with tactics
Another thing that I see a lot of people failing at is when they tech up and M-stall, they fail to reclaim solars, old labs and adv. solars. These are quite a bit of M if you're going to t2 (145, 580-850m/lab and 348 M respectively) and it speeds up the tech tremendously. Like wombat said, reclaim t...

Re: Balanced Annihilation V7.18
Yes, I always wondered why the EMP was so powerful. Also, I think some units need to be unpickabble (is that even a word lol) by the trans. I mean, come on. A goli or fatboy/sumo? Not exactly doable with the size/weight ratio.

Re: Balanced Annihilation V7.18
On the subject of bladewings: Mix a few samsons in with your stumpies and you're fine. On the Core t2 veh subject: Make the minesweepers have a VERY weak reclaim rate, OR, like was previously stated, make a small engineer whose only purpose is to build mexes, solars wind and DT and can reclaim off t...

Re: Balanced Annihilation V7.17
I did some experimenting in single player with this: Instead of him being a flying bomb that will explode in AA impact, you have a bit longer to get your comm/units back a bit and possibly save them. It takes about 3 seconds to get a comm out of walking dgun range from a stationary position. If the ...

I don't see it as a bug, rather, I see it as anti-commbomb :D
Maybe keep it for the comm, but remove it from all of the other units...somehow?

Re: A formal Reply to "The Decline of BA" - And a "Suggestion"
Now I'm not an overly-experienced player myself either, but I play a diverse mod and map range. This seems to be why I can't get exceptionally good at any one mod. I play XTA, BA AND NOTA all fairly well, enough to keep my team alive on my part most of the time. However I suck at teching/porcing, wh...

Re: Balanced Annihilation V7.14
Ba is fine. I haven't even been in a situation where I've lost a game due to slight balance tweaks. If you wanna stop vanguards, make more vanguards. If you wanna stop a sea scout rush, rush your scouts first. If you wanna have a bigger AOE for flak, spread your flak guns out. If you wanna make more...

Re: BA needs t2 nanos.
You all make very good points. What JohanneS said makes the biggest contribution to this discussion: T2 labs need to be able to build T1. It would make things a lot simpler for techers, and there'd be a faster buildtime too :D Also, then you wouldn't need to go all the way back to t1 for mass spammi...

Re: Dgun aim "range"
That's not even needed. All I do when I dgun is find the direction I want to dgun in with the widget and click right in front of the comm in that direction. The Dgun travels in a straight line and the comm won't walk to the the position slightly out of range. Most players won't even need this fixed,...

Re: BA needs t2 nanos.
Sorry, my efficiency statement was a little misworded. What I was trying to imply was that the buildpower and the amount of eco one t2 nano could drain would increase, and so would the cost. This would just mean that you wouldn't need as many and you wouldn't have to go back to t1 to do it, which is...

BA needs t2 nanos.
I don't know about the rest of you, but I honestly think BA could use a T2 nanotower. They should be proportionately more powerful than T1 nanos, and become more cost-efficient and eco efficient. (i.e. MM to Moho MM). The range also should be boosted, and the total number of them needed would decrea...

Re: Best maps for 1v1?
I personally like a neat little map named SnowAlert, it's a good fight-for-the-middle skirmish map.
