Yet another reason why we need multiple builds to be available through the lobbies.
So we can pick and choose the version to test or play.
Have 2 installed - test and play (unstable and stable) versions and pick what version to host when you make a game.

Buildbot builds whatever bugfix release, lobby autodownloads it, users play it. Also gentoo or whatever users could enjoy multiple compile orgasms a day! WIN WIN. That's a huge security issue. I wont use any lobby that autodownloads a lot of stuff in the background, God knows what it will download....

Mint uses Ubuntu's repo so it wouldn't be a repo issue as it works fine for me.

I tried that but then the spring commands don't seem to apply to it. I tested using single player selected mod and map and then spring loaded up but to the main menu.koshi wrote:put a wrapper script with your options somewhere, chmod +x it and select that in sl prefs
