Re: Spring Teamspeak server replaced with Mumble
I did search the forum, wiki and internet. I did ask in #sy and other places where some ppl came together. This thread is the only and at the same time the most current mumble-server thread I could find. Since there was a big tidy up in channels, I would like to request to get the LOeT-channel back....

I got that error, too. Win7 64, CTO mostly from 2-4.5.

Re: for people with "I lost my settings when I installed 95"
Near Topic: Bluestone told me that editing settings using springlobby -> edit -> Spring settings does not work currently (springlobby update will fix this). So you are required to change settings using spring.exe. On Topic: I was using spring.exe to set "Fullscreen = 0". It did work for sp...

Re: my contribution to the spring community finally ends now
[LOeT]Lampe was more of a goal-getter than most others in this community are. His spring playing was just a short period of his life. After he finished studying, he took a real world job to build real world robot weapons for killing real people so he could get real money. That's the only on topic th...

Re: Proper ranks
<accID>(<name>):::::::|<level> Looks useful and nice. Would you also tell me where to put it? No file on the host does contain the string "accID". The SPADS documentation for "!list users" does not mention anything regarding a format string. It's not comfortable but opposed to T...

Re: Proper ranks
It is probably just a coincident that since years all you get when typing "!admins" on the TERA host is a list of account IDs? So you dont have a chance to even find out easily who the admins are. Tell me how to configure it like The[x]Host. Despite that one can query usernames using !who...

Re: chrank and the constant failure of balance
I vote for some kind of ELO-like system and strong identities. For instant relief I would like to have a single new command: !oppose <player1> <player2> <timeperiod> where player1 and player2 are nicknames and the optional timeperiod defaults to 1 hour and is written like !ban does it. Just like !ba...

Re: [TERA] Autohosts info
Glad your snooping led to some results :-) OK, this spectator limiting nonsense again. I thought I tried to explain the last time how it is a bad idea but let's try again. I am with you. IIRC the whole idea started with some aggressive mates making the TERA-admins responsible for the decline of the ...

Re: BA 7.71 Released!
Ok, after a few more games I got to put stuff in perspective: Start boxes of solid color... It was a map issue. Sorry 'bout that. Crazy bouncing builders due to decreased build-range. This is no longer an issue, buildrange was increased in 7.71. The only builder that can have issues... Maybe that to...

Re: BA 7.71 Released!
Nice version. For me Win7SP1, GeForce GT 430 drivers v8.17.12.8026, Realtek Onboard sound drivers 6.0.1.6410 i get: Start boxes of solid color until i hover over something reclaimable which brings them back to normal. Crazy bouncing builders due to decreased build-range. Distorted sound. Esp. explos...

Re: [TERA] Autohosts info
Finally. Glad somebody's at least making a bit of effort to prevent massive games on stupid maps. The best thing to avoid stupid maps with stupid settings is not taking part in the actual games and go elsewhere: http://i141.photobucket.com/albums/r51/jazzcash/Untitled-1-5.jpg I really wonder why yo...

Bug when viewing last label/point (F3)
In BA7.66, when i press F3 to view the last label/point set it also takes my viewport to the last line drawn if there happened to be one after the label.

Hi, SpringLobby-autodownloader does not work with this. Your link does not work neither. It gives me a f....ngstu..d p...e o. s..t in form of a zip file. There is no working mirror or different location where the file can be found. Renaming zip does not work. Extracting zip, repack using 7z and rena...

Re: Map edges, how can they be fixed?
IMHO there are two different aspects to this topic: A) How to fix in a general way, working with every map and every mod? as well as B) How to enhance the map file format on a long term to fix it in a non-legacy manner? A: I think we should just put a small box around the whole map. From the very bo...

What I think is that you're just an unpopular kid in real life who is seeking for fame in the internet... And man you sound depressed. Here we have a great game which I hope I can still play for many years to come. But unfortunately enough, people like you are just making it to be a nightmare. &quo...

Re: Spring has less players
From watching such discussions for some years now I finally came to the well thought conclusion: In fact it is SpeedMetal that is killing Spring. For the last few years all you saw where the collapsing ruins which SpeedMetal left behind. But now I noticed that there is a new old enemy back. Even wor...
