new CA website - PDF version of the analysis
Now that we've reached the final stage of the textual analysis, I've combined all information into one document.

new CA website - 4.2 Global and local navigation systems
The last part before starting on the layout is to list all navigation elements to be used on the website. It serves purely as a clear overview. I will not go into detailing how certain navigations will work because of the changing nature of webdesign, and because those are easily adapted or defined ...

Re: GUI paper example
Ok, enough Blender talk. I posted the link to the paper because of the good approach in analysing why something is bad, and where it can be improved. If you refuse to stand still and spend some time thinking why something doesn't work, and how it can be improved, then don't be surprised the end resu...

MidKnight: I'm currently working on an analysis of the website, but my planning reaches a lot further than webdesign alone. jK: If you find Blender's GUI blasphemy, then that is just your opinion. I find that mindlessly stating an opinion without explaining the reasoning behind it not constructive a...

Re: GUI paper example
That could be so, but I doubt the results will be the same. My planning also involves altering game design on a fundamental level. Iterating very fast by concentrating on results has its benefits, but so has planning and analysis. I happen not to believe in quality results for large projects without...

Re: GUI paper example
Regret, there's no need to use irony. I understand if you don't see the relevance in looking for reference material, but I do. Licho, it may be you will have finished most development. And yes there's a lot of overlap. It's also the reason why I asked you if it's possible to branch out. I happen to ...

It depends on interpretation. The link towards "about" from the homepage may be better off as a primary link yes.

new CA website - 4.1 Internal Website Flow
I've found the time to visualize the flow. It's not a regular flowchart, but rather a page-specific listing of what the content on that page links to. It also lists what priority that link has. It's important to keep in mind that this website has 2 purposes: to market CA and to create and keep a com...
