Spring RTS Engine

i dont know whats the offical name of this here is?

i mean, e.g. if i tell a friend about this, should i use "Spring Engine" ,"Spring RTS" or only "Spring" or something different? What is right?

in the installer it says "TASClient is now unmaintained and partially outdated".

Why are there still new versions (like the newest "0.48beta")? Or isn't it unmaintained and outdated?
