Re: A formal Reply to "The Decline of BA" - And a "Suggestion"
11k isn't that much, not too much more than the amount of people Spring has playing it occasionally.

Depends if you want to advertise a 0.20 test version too much... Will leave worse first impression, than if you wait till its more ready.scifi wrote:Looks great, only needs players, go ti some website post spring link and mod link, people will come

Re: Unit specific configs for e323
How is there no need to set an exact build order? It seems the strongest way to start a game, have a good map specific build for the first minute or a bit more.

Re: Balanced Annihilation - why do I lose to the AI?
What map(s) are you playing? Yes you can abuse the AIs shortcomings but maybe it's more rewarding to actually improve your play. A simple start buildorder, and guideline how to play: Start 2 mex, 2 solars, vehicle lab. Queue 1 scout (send to annoy enemy, try not to lose it but drive around with it),...

Re: BA II v1.0
Would be a nice thing to have a good matchmaking system before big advertisements. It would be big part of that whole accessibility thing.

Re: BA II v1.0
I never saw a problem with samsons. Or if there is 1 it's they're too good vs bots. But that would be better fixed by reducing their hp for example. Samson spam in vehicle battles isn't that great, it's only useful in certain circumstances - you've got a narrow area to cover, and are starved for met...

Re: Balanced Annihilation V7.18
That is pretty terrible, on behalf of BA and its shareholders I apologise Edit: and will look at how that can particular tactic be curtailed I think Anrej included an excellent solution to this problem already. Faggy tactics ftw though, who doesn't love to pull a thing like that off? Or even better...

Re: Custom Hitsphere Testing - Help Required
Also if someone wants to rage about hitsphere changes affecting balance, rage at engine devs rather than this, they changed the way they are calculated for some reason - if you like the old hitspheres this is very probably an improvement to what the engine has in that regard. Atm llts cant shoot ove...

Andy is in starcraft II, same as a bunch of other "pro people", most left, so i dont know what you guys are talking about, engine changes e.t.c.. there isnt enough playerbase to play spring competitive in any level, at least these days. He plays TA also And playing competitively is more o...

Re: BA II v1.0
It's just a really ass backwards way of development, you pick one map, one teamsize, which you don't enjoy. Then you try to make it into something you like by changing the game... Make a new map you consider better suited for that teamsize then? With change on the gameside you force people who like ...

Re: Spring 0.82.5 bug fix release
are there any plans to change 3do hitspheres back to pre 0.82 sizes? Really hope so, really bad towards the games which use them... Even if most people woouldn't notice the difference. Would be nice to hear, if this will be fixed or if it's even intentional (and the reasoning to do such thing), or ...
