i recently gave away my old ATI x1950 that i used to play Spring on and can at least tell you what i used to see on version .80.x (mainly CA-mod) + fire effects and napalm things + disortion effects of heat and explosion + smoke trails and airplane trails + the effect of semi transparent cloaked uni...

current Wings beta version 1.1.11 introduces real "holes" instead of fake hole material ~ might want to check it out

i got my girlfriend to play a game of CA with me and she totaly freaked out when the game loaded and Nubtron and the Crudemenu aswell other stuff poped up all around the screen -

she nicknames Kbots as Kebab's - i found that funny :lol:

heres a example on my ati x1950 on with medium shadows and water at reflective+refractive settings

between version 06 and 07 i didnt see any difference

i noticed this interesting effect wobbling around the surface of the spheres when you have water in its background

now theres a changing colored light on both rotating objects - the surface and texture is still a standard

ATI x1950 on current drivers on WinXp : no errors ,
i see no normal maps or any kind of selfshadowing or shader fancyness

looks great - i would have used another Font for the game description text on the DVD box. All in all i'd buy it

btw. im Abschluss 2003 Grafik-Design in Freiburg, Freelancer mostly(hard to get a decent jobs lately)

My first created something in Wings3D. The idea is a compact replacement for the "Penetrator-Tachyon" tank but with accelerator panels like for a railgun. -fully rotateable turret with around -15┬░ to 90┬░ pitch -642 triangles -still lacking Teamcolor and texture2 *special thanks to Pressu...

wonderful results, on a quick game on the preRelease all the Radar icons are fixed here.
The only icon that is now broken, is the "Ammunition Icon" on vehicles/tanks when i move out camera to large distances.
