His documentaries are good, but Aguirre, the Wrath of God is his best work.

Seven Samurai is one of the fastest three hour movies I've ever seen. If you want slow try Andrei Rublev.

Re: Top notch Scifi
I can recommend: Greg Egan (Schild's Ladder, Diaspora, Axiomatic) - Concept driven science fiction with a hard scientific edge Stephen Baxter - great sense of scale and imagination, but can be really dry and sometimes indulges too much in cosmology porn Peter Watts - Blindsight - one of those spaces...

Re: DGun limit suggestion
There's no reason the radius has to be invisible though. The expanding radius kinda "feels" more natural to me as well.1v0ry_k1ng wrote:what is wrong with a timer rather than an obscure radius you wont be able to see ingame?

Re: DGun limit suggestion
The expanding limit sounds like a good replacement for existing behaviour yeah. As for flying comwrecks this was imposed upon us with an engine change - if people agree can't see a problem with turning it off. Hey could we also get the non-sliding wrecks back since that was an engine change too iir...

Re: DGun limit suggestion
But this would be a nice implementation. It should reach enemy a bit slower than direct comwalk though, since on small maps thats fast enough timing for comdrops still. Maybe start above 0, around what the limit radius is now, but then expand it slower than comwalk speed from there. I approve of th...

Re: Good Books
If you're into sci-fi, especially "space opera" there's three great authors of note: Peter F Hamilton : "Night's Dawn" This trilogy is terrible and put me off reading sci-fi. The ending to the 3500 page trilogy is indicated by the third book's title and it's as terrible as you'd...

Computer games are valuable to those who value "fun", that doesn't change the fact that they're pointless.
