Re: Balanced Annihilation Development
that would have to have a pretty high buildtime and/or cost to be balanced which wouldnt be too good since there are alot of circumstances where a timely construction of plasma shield is vital i agree with the anti air issue if you were the engineer designing anti air for your faction why the hell w...

Re: Balanced Annihilation Development
emmanuel? lol i think all sea really needs is some early defense to ward off guerilla tactics and rushes nothing too powerful, but its gotta be long enough range to take down a lone destroyer its the reason land is playable, if there was no llt, youd win by building a jeffy. its not so different wit...

los view is a wonderful tool
radar coverage isnt always obviou if youre concentrating on something else
and once in a while i get curious to see if my dsd teammates up north put up radar
besides
los view + semicolonlooks nice enough for me

Re: Balanced Annihilation Development
on land though, twighlight has a cloaking benefit and it also stuns on death
an underwater tidal would be pretty vulnerable to subs or ships with torps. if they cloaked, ppl would build them before losing lategame and it would take forever to seek them out and kill them

Re: Why was tasclient/springdownloader removed from installer?
its fine if SL downloading isnt slow although a few people i know had problems with it
SD just isnt slow either
and it has additional methods of keeping up with mod packages
(i think thats what rapid was for)

Re: Why was tasclient/springdownloader removed from installer?
Edit: Ya know satirik, if you would just put a decent looking skin on tasclient that changes the interface from a 1995 IRC client, it would be a lot more easy to accept. Also, font rendering on tasclient is very blocky. Little nitpicks, but visuals account for a good 70% of initial "good feeli...

Re: an annoying method of trolling
