Re: Leaderboard in FFA mode
Scouting should be rewarded, so this ranking display should not exist. feature that doesn't effect you in game, doesn't effect gameplay can be ignored you veto because your prefered gamestyle is not supported.. LAME. I don't veto shit. Scouting is not a play style, it's a best practice. In life too...

Re: Name suggestions for the BA remake
Ok so the words we need to be moving away from are "total" and "annihilation". I think we can all agree on that. That leaves us with "balanced", which is a terrible world to have in a name, specially as it is a metacomentary on the state of the mod when it had a differe...

Re: A welcome to new players?
I doubt you can persuade any real admin with your crying about DSD, but let it be clear that if you manage to limit or block BA DSD or any other mod/map, I'll DOS your shit(*).

Being cool is not about what maps you play in spring. It's about who and what you are.

There is no need to blame anyone, I enjoy it.
You kids are full of pointless hate. It REALLY doesn't make you look cool.

Re: Eco is much more important than territory in BA DSD
Hating DSD is so cool man! DSD is gay! But seriously, I think one of the strengths of DSD is that the terrain of the base clearly defines the role of the player. Players in the back tech, the front pushes, and a few spots can choose one or the other. Compared to other maps like Tabula, the "tec...

Certainly you can understand that this only works because most people don't have ZKLobby.CarRepairer wrote: ZKLobby has been doing this for years. It's a checkbox that's checked by default.

That would be hilarious! Then on the next server reboot all the games would be empty and invisible!Cheesecan wrote: We could put a default filtering setting in lobbies. E.g filter out ALL games that are empty by default. How do you think?

Re: who is currently maintaining BA?
If you break porc by spending more metal in static buildings than they did, are you really winning? Sometimes very much yes. The guardian gives you a big zone of control, valuable in itself since it turns the initiative over to you, and in a good situation you get to reclaim the wrecks of those tur...

Re: who is currently maintaining BA?
You are seriously saying the guardian is a defensive structure? The first time you mentioned it I thought you were kidding. The guardian is a noob trap because it only APPEARS to be a defensive structure. In fact its proc breaker meant to actually prepare an attack. At least thats my understanding ...

Re: who is currently maintaining BA?
The guardian is not useless. It is only a noob trap because it is a defensive structure and noobs play too defensively. The guardian buys you time, because you can make it at t1 and it can be expensive to kill with t1, if it is combined with more defense. In many situations, buying time is more impo...

Re: who is currently maintaining BA?
BA is not supposed to evolve. Senna made lot's of interesting changes like 50% cheaper punisher or guardian. Look, I'll give you one thing, that line you wrote is fucking hillarious. It shows you know nothing about how BA works, or how balance changes affect gameplay. But look, that doesn't matter....

It is never a peace of cake to fix someone else's code. Knowing the tools is just a prerequisite.
