Re: gathering feedback about people who leave spring ecossystem

Lobbies should combine main chat/battle list screens as the old TASclient did around ~2010 when it was still the most popular/default client. After the change to Springlobby main chat/newbie channel participation plummeted. The chance of a newbie being heard and getting help is near nil (especially ...

Re: Your Spring desk picture plz

unfortunately nvidia drivers don't seem to support spanned desktops anymore, so i don't play dual monitor mode, though i could probably figure out a setup with a stretched window accross both monitors

Re: SLDB: Personal TrueSkill history graphs

What can I do if the replay site isn't allowing me to log in with my lobby name and password? There doesn't seem to be any 'recovery' feature or contact information.

Re: [SOLVED]Most idiot proof way to install and play on linux?

Where do the files end up? /opt or somewhere else? I'd prefer to have things installed to another drive other than my system/home drive (which is easy with Steam since I can specify a steam directory on that drive and everything goes there). I'm not sure how to effect that with apt, there's a stack ...

Can't join? Could you please pastebin your weblobby.log for me/weblobby guys (settings tab pastebin weblobby.log). I have never had this happen to any linux users that I am aware of, so please let me know. Also, what is your username in the lobby. Yes you can place games/maps in the normal places a...

Re: SpringLobby: merge chat and battle windows

I have git installed, can I make a new branch or something?

The thing is the suggestions are meant to target first-time users of Spring so it is important that it is the default functionality.

Well this has showed me that there are some sensitivity issues with some people here.

SpringLobby: merge chat and battle windows

It would be much better for the community if the chat & battlelist windows were on the same screen.

Also default start the lobby in this screen.

I think this would help newbies a lot and promote more communication, back in the days when TASclient was more popular.
