Spring RTS Engine

Ever since I got my 8800 and AMD dual-core processor, I've had a lot of issues with the graphics in Spring. I've obviously read that Spring does not like dual-cores but I've had strange things happen. Most of the time, I need to shut off my first core and have it run on the second to get a 40FPS boo...

I suppose BA just has a lot more AA defences than XTA then which, to be honest, I really don't think it's necessary to have all of them but, whatever.

Alright, if I get this bug again, I'll try out Doom 3 and see what happens. And, nice, EVGA rox. Anyways, I'm running Windows XP SP2, and as far as I know everything is up to date. I pretty much agree with all of those ideas. I wasn't really wanting a full FPS/RTS hybrid anyways, just a more refined and polished gimmick.

Oh yeah, I know there are larger issues that should, with out a doubt, be delt with way before improving the FPS aspect. I just felt like sharing my thoughts. And I looked at Natural Selection. It looks pretty sweet but not exactly my cup of tea. Savage on the other hand... I'll be looking into that...

Wow, I didn't know so many people actually noticed the FPS mode. I've always dreamed of an RTS in which I could take control of some of my cooler units, and Spring fulfilled that. But, anyways, maybe that mode will be smoothed out. That'd be so nice.
