Re: OpenSuse Repository - No Update

hello guys, if any maintainer of opensuse version is there, please if possible do a package with AI's, i'm missing RAI, KAIK and others. also, for springlobby on opensuse 11.4 you'll need to add another if in the spec file to make sure that on that version the wxWidget version is wxWidgets-wxcontain...

[SOLVED] After a few hours in freenode ##slackware chatroom, we solved the problem. You need to patch DevIL 1.6.8 with a libpng patch. The patch and SlackBuild script have already been submitted to the SlackBuild.org website for review. Once it passes the review it will be posted in the 13.1 sectio...

openAL updates?

openAL 0.8 source code isn't under sourceforge anymore. since this is a base library it could be much dangerous, but the project simply moved (years ago , o.0): http://connect.creativelabs.com/openal/default.aspx also the autotools support was wiped out so CMake is needed to compile the things, ;) c...

Re: new ggc version issues

Are you talking about SVN Spring or 0.76? I had trouble with 0.76 building on Intrepid (which has all new stuff) but SVN seemed to build ok. OpenAL and DevIL had incompatibilities with gcc 4.2.3, something about typedefs involving void; so if i want to compile spring under this gcc (slackware 12.1)...

Re: For Slackers, ;D

so, a small revamp for search purposes. tussock, that error in the raw function is something related to boost 1.35, downgrade to 1.34 and everything will work. i've uploaded all deps (still slackware 12.0, can at least try) in rapidshare: spring 0.76b1 http://rapidshare.com/files/131501453/s ... 6-1...

Re: Assertion `checksum == 0x617a9968' failed.

ok, the revision is 6210 and that new machine still unable to get spring running; the linux version is slacwkare 12.1 (+ gslacky), gcc is 4.2.3, i've made 2 modifications in IL.h and alc.h, as ai've said before; ILvoid isn't a legal type anymore and it must be corrected in newer versions of these li...

widget request: Volume control

Usually i just forgot to configure the sound and then i got astounding explosions, really high booms.

Sometimes i have problems to hear my mother talking with me.

Would be nice to have a fancy slider to control the game sound volume, is it possible?

if that thread are there to do requests, i have one: some libraries we could expect to be shared libs instead static link;

for windows users an enormous .exe is acceptable, but 15MB of binary code is too big to me. we could free some memory for textures, ;)
