Lua but not Spring. Important.

Anyone able to write a luascript that'll display big letters "UPDATE YOUR ADOBE" on the screen if the currently installed Adobeflash is not 9.0.124.0? It's a anti-hack related problem as the previous adobe flash has a huge hole in it that allows people to take passwords, this problem is cu...

Re: Looking for older version of Spring, circa 0.73

Perhaps he's dropping it on a work machine where he can't change the OS? That to me would raise as many questions as it answers/ seems just as dumb, but it would explain the W98 thing. No company in their right mind would still be running Win98 unless its in a VM for an application that doesn't wor...

Re: Where are the Single Player Missions?

There was a production undergoing for the development a full Campaign. However due to my indefinate absence, due to health concerns I am unable to produce the Campaign. The plans for the Single Player Campaign will be scrapped until I am fit enough to continue writing the files for it. And please re...

I dont think there should be a "good" or "evil" side, just a "way of thinking A" and a "way of thinking B" side :)

Re: ARM* and CORE* Mission One Peeks.

What I am saying is that a campaign is not just a story and some movies. A campaign needs programming. Without programming, the campaign does not exist. Therefore programming is actually the backbone of the campaign. Desert first approach means that you are doing the smaller, easier, less important...

or how about creating a backbone to the campaign first and keep your comments to yourself as you completely know nothing about what your talking about. This is only the starters my friend the desserts are the expansions.

Re: ARM* and CORE* Mission One Peeks.

Saktoth instead if a wall of text. A few sentances would be enough to compile a 50 mission (two per side) Campaign. All we need to know... Why are they fighting? Who is who? Their homeworlds identification? Current state of the war? Who is good and who is evil? The Opening Sequence would be great fo...

Re: ARM* and CORE* Mission One Peeks.

all that is, is a teaser of what we're going to do.
Considering CA is leaving IP, the use of the stories from the OTA:CC Campaign is strictly forbidden. The full story writing will not commence until we have confirmed with the CA Devs the main designations of the units and factions.

Re: ARM* and CORE* Mission One Peeks.

Lol depends on your skills.

CA was chosen for it's use of the engine. Unlike BA, CA is putting in effort and leaving IP which is the thing to do instead of clinging onto the past. CA is using the engine's FULL Capabilities and showing what the engine could do would "Sell" the game.
