ZK rapid also appears to not be picking up our newest stable.

Chili Visual Novel
Draw anime babes, make anime babes move around and talk, etc. Might be useful for people doing missions or even a singleplayer campaign (though it's not really recommended for the latter at present). http://i.imgur.com/mbfj4Py.jpg Github Currently supports most of the basics: adding text, images and...

What does Spring.SetUnitMaxRange() do exactly?
My initial assumption was that you can use it to force a unit with long-ranged weapons to close in to a shorter range when having an Attack order. e.g. unit has three weapons, longest ranged one has 600 range, so it normally tries to close to 600 range and then stops but with Spring.SetUnitMaxRange(...

Re: Save/Load revisited
2) The player still isn't assigned to the right team on game load (even though startscript.0 lists the correct player name). Trying to work around by moving all players with Spring.AssignPlayerToTeam() doesn't work either. does the player0's name in script.txt match the name in springsettings.cfg ?...

Re: Save/Load revisited
*bump* Thanks to GoogleFrog's work, the ZK implementation of save/load is almost fully functional. But I've had two major issues I still can't solve: 1) gadget:Load() is called after gadget:GamePreload(). Currently I know of no other way to detect whether this is a loaded savegame, which means I can...

Nice :)
It took me a while to figure out haste is needed to unlock cloak/teleport (actually I pretty much discovered it by accident).
(I'd draw connecting lines manually on the tech window using the gl functions)

Anyone know who made the map "Matterhorn" ?

I'm asking because a guy emailed me to ask if he could use the heightmap in a Terragen render.
Search here and on springfiles doesn't turn up anything.

Re: Spring/LD presentation
What's really unfortunate is that despite being told this talk would include non-programming stuff as well, they seem to have misrepresented it and in the end no girls showed up which was disappointing for me as well. :( Is this an "equal gender representation" thing, or a "the profe...

Re: Spring/LD presentation
Posting my old project for gajop: Galaxy Angel: Starcrossed Lovers is a hybrid VN/RTT (visual novel/real-time tactics) game with a bishoujo anime style, serving as a concept demonstrator for the combination of the Ren'Py and Spring engines. It was originally created as a planned fan sequel for the G...

Re: Spring/LD presentation
Mmm, highlighting Spring's (unofficial, at that) Ren'Py compatibility might be more relevant if we had a single quarter-completed project that used the capability. To my knowledge there is currently exactly one actual Spring game that uses Ren'Py (mine), it's like 4% done, and uses someone else's IP...

Re: Google Code To Close
Does the CLI let you easily decide which of the 1,000 modified files you currently have in working dir should go into the next commit? That's the big thing I'm concerned about. @topic: SpringPy also needs moving to github, but I'm way too lazy atm. I'll probably put it off till the second or third d...

Permabanning can be a useful tool under certain circumstances (when the user in question is persistently damaging and demonstrates an inability or unwillingness to change). Though I'm not sure why smoth needs ban. He posts while in ignorance of the topic sometimes, but that's not considered a punish...

Re: Steam tried to install me a game without my permission
I like your snark Picasso (especially the bit about the PR people), but can anyone think of how Valve or game studios stand to actually gain anything from forcibly installing games that the user hasn't paid a dime for? Even if they don't blow up at the companies in question, the most you've done is ...

Re: Nightwatch vpn/proxy detection
The attack type I'm concerned with here is one or more accounts sending a PM to everyone in lobby simultaneously (or talking in every channel, although that hasn't happened yet to my knowledge). Can the current anti-spam catch spam if it's spread out across multiple accounts?

Re: Nightwatch vpn/proxy detection
I'd be happy to see VPN blocking gone when it takes more than two minutes (currently it's like 15 seconds) to make a smurf account and get into lobby, and the process is not automatable. Alternatively, even if the smurf does get into lobby, there should be methods to prevent damage: - quite reliably...

Re: Steam tried to install me a game without my permission
Sanctum 2 is Early Access? It doesn't say that on the Steam page (what the page does say is that it was released in March 2013). And no, Picasso, it's not F2P.

Your IP doesn't resolve to any blocked entity that I can see. But in any case, you have an exception now.
