Re: Client crash

Can you get the lobby options dialog box to come up? If you can you should try the "Reset registry data" option, as it sounds like your window sizing, position, etc. has gotten messed up.

Re: NEW LOBBY CLEINT YES

What? Despite the misspellings and such I understood this fine. "any 1 eveyr think of a mordren mod instead of past and fueter" Translates to: "Anyone ever think of a modern mod instead of past and future?" I.E. Not future like TA and not past like S44. A modern warfare mod kind ...

Re: Hello. I have some questions.

I would love to join a clan/squad, but nobody seems to be recruiting. I really love cooperative play and have the most fun in Spring when I have a team that really knows how to play together. I think we need to build on this kind of thing, as it seems to be a weak spot in the Spring community. Let's...

Re: screen going grey for frame or two when scrolling or zooming

I have this too. It just started with this new version (0.76b1). It's extremely annoying...

I have the Radeon 9600 Series. I have another PC with the Radeon X800 GPU, but I haven't tested the new Spring version on it yet.

Hoping for a fix in 0.76b2!

Re: "British Accent"

I just LOLed at this thread. I think the British accent is used to generally refer to the way a person from GB pronounces such things as their vowels (mostly) differently than other English speaking countries. Same goes for an American accent, Australian accent, South African accent, Singaporean acc...

Re: Next version of AA, what should it be called?

Seriously, welcome back Caydr. Looks like you are back for good this time (and you brought some hawt new toys). It also appears you buffed up your skills in your absence. I haven't felt this way since the first day AA was released for Spring. I'm giddy, dammit! I'm sure some will try to run the GoA ...

I assume you mean 45x16 and not 16x45, because it looks like you are using a landscape layout instead of a portrait layout. Also, are there specific channels you want icons for? Because currently there are like 250 channels listed in TASClient. Is there a reason why this seems vague to me or am I ju...

I made that CA banner. I didn't intend to make anyone upset or give CA any special attention, but at the time I just felt like making a CA banner. I can do the same for all other mods. I too had suggested that we have rotating banners for each mod, but some didn't think that was a good idea for some...

Also, to do the voice over bit with zooming, panning, and fading as I described you could use Flash. Standalone executables can be made with embedded audio and images. Also ActionScript could be used on a "Begin Mission" button to close the movie and call a bat file or custom executable th...

Yeah I was going to suggest still images with a voice over also. Nobody even hast to draw them like paintings. You could just take in-game screens, add Photoshop flare or even use filters to make them look like paintings. I think it would be great if you were to make them really high-res and script ...

Yeah I figured the Logitech software might do something like that, but all that software always seems like bloatware to me so I never install it. I was hoping Spring supported this directly. Maybe if I use /keydebug in-game it might give me a keycode when I click one of those buttons. I'll test it a...

Mouse Binding?

Say I wanted to bind "ALT-Mouse Down" or "Shift-Mouse Down" to my mouse's back button and "ALT-Mouse Up" or "Shift-Mouse Up" to my mouse's forward button. How would I go about doing that? And yes I know about the TAB key, but sometimes I think it would be cool...

Is it a CA feature for lines and text to scale relative to zoom? Or are those just some really thick lines and huge sized font in those screens? How can I draw huge lines (with transparency even?!?!) and type large bold text in Spring?

Personally, I think it would be a great idea to implement voice chat in the way Licho has suggested. I can recall several games a friend and I played by collaborating and coordinating our attacks while in the same room. We were like a well oiled machine and didn't have to bother ourselves with typin...

Actually, I rather like this. Something about the look of the models and the textures really catches my attention. A mod with a small number of units like this would be fun to play. Now you need a gimmick. Say like an intricate bonus system, or a hero system like Warcraft 3. Can't wait to try this o...

Yeah, same here. Alt-move hasn't worked for me since they implemented it (or tried to). It really sounds like a great feature, so I try it to see if it will work for me when a new Spring version comes out (even after clean installs and such), but it never does.
